During our move from my studio apartment to our new family abode, I had ideas I want to make for this crafting and stationer/vlogging channel on YouTube. After little bit settled, I thought of what to make for tutorials.
One of this presented page ideas for crafting. Not just any page it is base page ideas for creative journaling. Oh how I loved the dedicated time I did this on my tutorial on YouTube. I know I showed a few on the video tutorial.
Fast forward now, this presentation give me a boost to do more of these creative journaling styles for base pages.
The Objective
However, the goal of making these base pages does not change. I realized I was not aware of how this helps to liven up the goal of the design and pleasant charge when you are running out of options. Especially when sitting down to make the creative spread/page. And to make something productive for the moment to satisfy creativity through crafting.
I love on how the next time I can be creative there's part of this productivity that boosts self to be able to not get stuck on designing. A part of this has already been done through the base pages and not having design block. It is just a matter of time to get back to it and continue to be creative and less fuss (how) to start and just go for it with the design layout you did not intend to even make but the base page helped to make the design block easier to navigate.
There's no resolution when you want to journal and make it pretty when you are fumbling for materials to create a needed distraction from other things in life. This is your time for a creative space. A moment to activate your dopamine to relieve stress.
To creativity we go. And make it pretty at the same time.
So long explanation short: these base pages serves as design prompts for creative journaling.

Please watch the video to guide you on how as an EXAMPLE to make this creative journal. You can even print mini quotes to size in patterned papers for mini postcards to get you going even more when writing your thoughts along with the design. Another usable prompt tip.
The goal to this is PROMPTS and not having design block and just be the creative you to enjoy with.
I am cheering for all of us to make progress with this. It is a getaway from feeding on mental rut and getting back to what we love to do most. This is part of my journey I want to share even if someone close to me won't get it at first.
To all who are homebodies that have a creative side of them don't let that doubt dim the creative spark you are born to shine.
Thank you for being here today. 🌞
